Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

- Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, then place them onto cookie sheets. Flatten each ball slightly using the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.

Frosting
- While baking, prepare the frosting by beating together powdered sugar, heavy cream, and red food coloring until smooth.
- Once the cookies are completely cooled, spread the peppermint frosting generously on top.
