- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.

- Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually mix in the flour until just incorporated, being careful not to overmix, then gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
