Ingredients

Fudge Base
  • 1 cup vanilla cake mix Consider using a natural brand without artificial flavors.
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk Alternatives can be lower-calorie options with almond milk and maple syrup.
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Substitute with coconut oil for vegan option.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips High-quality chips are preferred for a richer flavor.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Can omit white chocolate for a richer fudge.
  • 1 cup sprinkles Customizable for seasons or themes.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Can be substituted with almond extract for variation.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, sweetened condensed milk, and softened butter until smooth.
  2. Stir in the white chocolate chips and vanilla extract until evenly dispersed.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt the chocolate chips until smooth.
  4. In a lined baking dish, layer the melted chocolate mixture at the bottom, then pour the cake batter mixture on top, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the festive sprinkles on top of the fudge.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set.
  7. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For best results, allow enough time for the fudge to chill to achieve the right consistency. Cut into squares using a sharp, warm knife to prevent cracking.
